In the meantime, again in July, Will Smith spilt the beans in regards to the ongoing controversy over his assault on Chris Rock on the 2022 Oscard Awards, giving his most unfiltered opinions on the incident that has tarnished his public picture on social media.
In March 2022, Smith punched presenter and comic Chris Rock on the Dolby Theatre stage after he made a G.I. Jane joke about Jada Pinkett’s baldness. Smith has been banned from showing for 10 years and has now introduced his resignation from the Academy.
