The teaser for the movie Siya, starring Pooja Pandey and Vineet Kumar Singh, simply dropped. The grim video sees atrocities dedicated on ladies, and the following battle for justice. It’s a tough take a look at the crimes that ladies are compelled to endure, and the way one lady struggles to beat oppressive societal and state equipment to realize justice. On the finish of the clip, she asks a poignant query—what’s the purpose of justice, if there’s nobody alive to expertise it?
Directed by Manish Mundra, the movie has been bankrolled by Drishyam Movies, which has earlier produced Masaan and Newton.
Mundra had earlier defined in an announcement that the movie will discover the hypocrisy behind such crimes. He had mentioned, “The numbers of these crimes are staggering and only seem to be growing with every passing day. We hope to empower women to stand up and speak out with this film. We hope that the audience will understand the relevance of our film and will speak out on the same.”

Speaking about her position in Siya, Pooja Pandey had defined, “This role and character honestly takes a lot out of you emotionally and physically. I was moved by the script and just knew this story deserved to be told.” Her co-star Vineet Kumar Singh mentioned that whereas the movie is predicated in India, it has common attraction as the priority is ‘global’.
The movie will launch nationwide on September 16, 2022.
