The Delhi authorities on Tuesday accepted ex gratia of Rs 10 lakh every for the kin of victims who misplaced their lives within the Mundka and Jamia Nagar fireplace incidents.
27 folks have been killed when a large blaze ripped by a four-storey industrial constructing in West Delhi’s Mundka on Might 13. Two folks had misplaced their lives after an air conditioner compressor exploded inside a restaurant in Jamia Nagar in April.
When Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had visited the accident website, he introduced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh every to the kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 for these injured.
Following the announcement, Rs one lakh every was given to the kin of the 27 folks by the Delhi authorities and the remainder of the quantity was pending because the DNA profiling report was awaited from the Delhi Police.

The Delhi authorities had additionally accepted an ex gratia of Rs 10 lakh to the kin of Rahul Basnet and Vijay Kumar who had misplaced their lives within the Jamia Nagar mishap.
“Even though the ex-gratia amount cannot compensate for the loss caused to the families, I hope that with this financial assistance from the Delhi Government, the family members will get some help in building their lives ahead. The Delhi government always stands by the people in times of distress,” mentioned Income Minister Kailash Gahlot instructed PTI.
