BENGALURU: Basavaraj Kabade, superintending engineer, BSWML, mentioned the state authorities has accepted a recent tender to arrange three giant switch stations in Mahadevpura, BTM Format and Chickpet. Three pockets of land have been recognized.
Vinod Reddy, head of operations, Parishudh Ventures, which bagged this contract, mentioned the BTM Format land is unfold over 30,000 sqft, Mahadevapura 50,000 sqft and Chickpet 20,000 sqft. Every station can deal with waste from eight wards and may have a number of parts like two static compactors, 15 containers and others.
The annual financial savings for BBMP might be as much as Rs 5 crore from this venture.
