Former Mumbai zonal director of the Narcotics Management Bureau Sameer Wankhede has filed a defamation criticism in opposition to former Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik, based mostly on which town police have registered a case in opposition to the NCP chief, an official stated.

“Sameer Wankhede approached Goregaon police station and lodged the complaint against Nawab Malik, who is behind bars in an alleged money laundering case,” the official stated on Sunday.

“Police on Sunday registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Malik for defamation on the complaint lodged by the former NCB officer,” the official stated.

The district caste certificates verification committee in its order on Friday stated the Indian Income Service (IRS) officer was not a Muslim by start and it has been confirmed that he belonged to Mahar caste, which is a Scheduled Caste (SC).

Complaints filed by Nawab Malik and others concerning the caste declare of Wankhede and the faith of the caste certificates will not be substantiated. Therefore, the complaints are being rejected because of lack of info within the criticism, the caste committee’s order had acknowledged.

The NCB had later given a clear chit to Aryan Khan.
